A new method is now used to calculate the Arrivals and departures forecast figures shown in the cockpit module. Previously, it looked at the data from the same month last year, and calculated the average length of stay, then used those numbers to populate the cockpit. This meant the numbers could be very different than what was currently on the books.

The new method of calculation now looks at the daily Live forecast room nights values, and bases the estimate on that instead of on last year’s data. This makes the data much more accurate and useable.
