PMI adoption index: How are the measurements calculated?

The table below explains the calculations used for each of the measurements that make up the PMI adoption index.

Each action has a different weighting, according to how crucial it is. The more crucial an action is, the greater impact it will have on a department’s index score. The column to the far right shows if the action has a high, medium or low impact level.

Calculation description
Measures day by day correlation between hours and to actual cost driver for the past 6 weeks (i.e. staffing according to actual activity).
Measures if all accounts are mapped or ignored
Measures if used hours in the last 6 weeks were frequently biased; too high or too low.
Measures if Live forecast over the last 3 months has been frequently biased; too high or too low.
Measures if a forecast is in PMI for the current and next 2 months.
Measures 1) If a Live forecast is in PMI for the current and next 2 months. and 2) If it differs from the forecast by less than 25%.
Measures accuracy over the last 3 months using MAPE.
Measures on how many days the labor cockpit was viewed during the last 28 days. The goal is 20. Properties with an automatic import of the Live forecast are excluded.
Measures on how many days the Live forecast was viewed during the last 28 days. The goal is 20.
Measures on how many days the P&L was viewed in the last 31 days. The goal is 1.
Measures accuracy for the last 2 months using MAPE.
Measures if current year has a submitted budget not older than 365 days.
Measures 1) If current month has a submitted forecast not older than 30 days and 2) If the following 11 months have a submitted forecast.
Measures if a productivity forecast is in PMI for the current and next 2 months.
Measures 1) If a productivity Live forecast is in PMI for the current and next month. and 2) If it differs from the forecast by less than 10%.
Reusing the Live forecasting Accuracy index for the source department(s).
The correlation between the selected driver and the actual result is compared for the past year. Each day of the week is checked. independently and the correlation value (Pearson coefficient) for each day is weighted based on revenue per day to get a total score.
Measures day by day correlation of the schedule and SMART forecast for the next 6 weeks.
Measures if the future schedule is adapted to a change in SMART Forecast at various lead times (3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months).
Measures how many times the Labor cockpit was saved in the last 14 days. The goal is 10.
Measures how many times the Live forecast was saved in the last 14 days. The goal is 10.
Measures how many times the P&L was updated in the last 31 days. The goal is 1.
Measures if the used hours were adapted to a change in SMART Forecast at various lead times (3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months).
Measures whether scheduled hours alignment with actual activity has improved over the last 6 weeks.
Measures whether the Live forecast accuracy has improved over the last 6 weeks.
