Data specification sheet

The Go Green Data specification sheet is designed to assist in setting up sustainability data integration with PMI. Using the data specification sheet ensures a seamless and efficient data integration process into the PMI software suite, enabling better environmental management and reporting.

These documents provides detailed data requirements across various environmental metrics, including:

  • Chemicals: Usage in kg with mandatory data points like property ID, date (DD/MM/YYYY), units (kg), and source type.
  • Energy: Electricity, heating, oil, gas, solar and cooling. Mandatory elements include property ID, date (DD/MM/YYYY) and hour (1,2,3,4). Units (kWh), and source type.
  • Food waste: Collect data on total food waste across different categories including production, inventory, guest plates, and events. Key elements include property ID, date, units (kg), and source type.
  • General waste: Record data on various waste fractions including paper, glass, plastics, metals, and other categories. Essential elements involve property ID, date, units (kg), and source type.
  • Towels & linens: Mandatory data points are property ID, date (DD/MM/YYYY), units (number), and source type.
  • Water: Water details such as property ID, date (DD/MM/YYYY) and hour (1,2,3,4). units (liters), and source type.

PMS source system 

The daily data feed (data journey) can, at a high level, be described in four main steps, as illustrated above. 

  1. Export the dataset in the agreed format, like web service XML or a structured flat file.
  2. Send the exported data to the PMI server (cloud-based).
  3. Import the dataset into PMI and match it to the right data fields.
  4. The data will be processed and displayed in the PMI user interface.

Integration details for the PMS source system

  • API integration: Follow the provided guidelines to set up API integration with login credentials and specifications.
  • SFTP details: Share SFTP details for data transfer.
  • File format: Excel and CSV.
  • Email integration: d2o will share property-specific data integration email address.
