This release introduces significant updates to the GoGreen Task Bank and Task Handling in Cockpits within PMI. These improvements enhance usability for chain managers and maintenance managers, supporting better task creation, management, and resource allocation.

1. Task bank enhancements

The Task Bank has been upgraded to streamline task creation and management for chain managers. These updates improve task scheduling, visibility, and tracking.

New features

1. Improved side panel:

      • A new side panel UI replaces the previous pop-ups for viewing, editing, and approving tasks. Click on the task to activate the side panel.
      • The side panel includes three modes:
        • View Mode: Read-only access to task details.
        • Edit Mode: Allows editing of task fields such as title, category, and description.
        • Approve Mode: Assign tasks to specific chains or properties and move them to the Task Bank.

2. Task scheduling and due dates:

      • Chain managers can schedule tasks as One-time, Monthly, or Yearly and set due dates for completion.
      • Scheduled tasks automatically update due dates based on the assigned recurrence.

3. Enhanced filters:

      • Filters and sorting options are now available for task columns, including Task Title, Created By, and Cockpit Name.
      • A search bar enables quick identification of specific tasks.

Use case:

Chain sustainability managers can create and assign tasks with clear due dates across multiple properties, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals.

2. Cockpit task management enhancements

The Task Handling features in GoGreen Cockpits have been updated to improve task visibility and completion tracking for maintenance managers.

New features

1. Task status updates in my tasks:

      • Maintenance managers can now update the status of tasks directly in the My Tasks tab.
      • Status options include Not Started, In Progress, and Completed.
      • Once marked as Completed, tasks are moved to the bottom of the task list.

2. Scheduled tasks with due dates:

      • Tasks scheduled by chain managers now appear in the My Tasks tab with a clear due date.
      • These tasks cannot be removed or hidden until marked as Completed, ensuring accountability.

3. Due date alerts:

      • Overdue tasks trigger a red alert in the Key Insights section of the cockpit.
      • Alerts display the task title and the number of overdue tasks.

Key benefits

    • Improved transparency: Chain managers and maintenance managers now have a seamless flow of tasks, with due dates and statuses tracked efficiently.
    • Enhanced accountability: Scheduled tasks from the Task Bank cannot be ignored or removed until completed, ensuring follow-through.
