Introduction to the PMI App

How Can We Improve This Article?

What Is the PMI App?

The PMI App provides a streamlined, read-only view of your property’s performance data—mirroring much of what you see on the desktop version of PMI, with a focus on monitoring rather than editing.

Key Characteristics:

  • Read-only access: Forecasts, labor schedules, and Cockpit data cannot be edited in the app
  • Mobile-friendly: Optimized for on-the-go monitoring
  • Not all features available: Some advanced desktop views (e.g., Pickup statistics) are not yet included

Main Views Available in the PMI App:

These are the core functional views available through the app:

  • GM Daily Digest – A daily snapshot of key performance indicators for General Managers
  • Management Perspective – High-level property insights, aligned with the desktop version
  • Portfolio Perspective – Aggregated performance data across multiple properties
  • Flash Report – Core reporting view summarizing financial and operational performance
  • Benchmarking – Comparative view showing how your property performs against benchmarks or other locations
  • Cockpit Views (All Departments) – Department-level performance metrics including labor and productivity

What Metrics/Data Are Displayed?

Within the views listed above, the following data types are presented—just like on the desktop version:

  • RevPOLU – Revenue per operated labor unit
  • Revenue – Department-level and total revenue figures
  • OTB (On The Books) – Upcoming bookings and occupancy data
  • Food Cost – Efficiency and trends in F&B cost management
  • Labor – Productivity, cost, and scheduling metrics
  • PMI Index – Adoption and productivity performance indicators
  • Static Forecast & Budget – Locked forecasts and baseline planning figures

Summary:

While the PMI App does not allow editing or forecast submissions, it provides mobile access to all key property data. If a metric is visible in the Portfolio Perspective or Cockpit on the desktop, you can view it in the app as well—just in a read-only format.
