The Scheduled Horizon defines the boundary between scheduled hours and SMART-based hours when the horizon and auto-target setting are enabled. From the horizon end date onward, PMI uses SMART hours in the applicable cockpit calculation. This is not an unconditional switch: if auto-target is disabled, reaching the horizon alone does not trigger it.
Changing the Scheduled Horizon does not change which hours are imported from your Timekeeping System (TKS). Imported schedules and the hours used in the cockpit calculation are separate: a schedule can contain hours beyond the horizon even when the cockpit uses SMART for that period.
If future hours look unexpected or empty
Check the selected dates, whether the horizon is enabled, its end date and the auto-target setting. Then check imported or manually entered schedules and the SMART values for the same department and dates. A blank schedule alone does not determine whether PMI switches to SMART, and a horizon change does not repair missing TKS imports or mappings.
