Using arrivals and departures as a cost driver

How Can We Improve This Article?

It is possible to use Arrivals and/or Departures as a cost driver in a cockpit.
When you activate the forecasting feature for Arrivals/Departures in Rooms Live forecast, it will generate a daily forecast for arrivals and departures. This forecast will be derived from the daily Live forecast room nights values.

Changing a housekeeping or front office cockpit to use either arrivals or departures or a combination of both as the main cost driver can increase the accuracy of the daily SMART forecast.

For example: A hotel only cleans departure rooms, and using departures as the main cost driver in the cockpit will increase the manning accuracy.

By using Arrivals/Departures as the cost driver the following is now also possible:

Profit & Loss
Possibility to bring in Arrivals, Departures & Stay-Overs in Source Definition.

Benchmarking
Possibility to use Arrivals/Departures as a cost driver.

Please contact support@d2o.com to activate this and change the settings in the cockpit.
