Why are some holidays highlighted in PMI but not others?

PMI highlights moving holidays, such as Easter, because they fall on different dates each year. Highlighting them helps you identify the corresponding holiday period when comparing with previous years.

Fixed-date holidays are not highlighted in the same way. For example, Christmas Eve falls on 24 December every year, so PMI does not use holiday colouring to identify it.

This is why you may see Easter highlighted in Live Forecast and cockpits, while fixed-date holidays such as Christmas Eve are not.
