Throughout PMI, notes can only be added or edited where the user has access.
A user’s access to a department determines whether they can add notes to it.
For example:
- Live Forecast: If a user only has edit access to F&B, they can add notes to F&B dates, but they cannot add notes to Rooms dates because they do not have access to Rooms.
- Cockpit: A user must have edit access to a cockpit to add notes. If they only have view access, they cannot add notes.
- Flash Report: Notes are subject to the same access restrictions. A user can only add notes where they have the required edit access.
This applies consistently throughout PMI: notes follow the user’s existing access permissions.
